Happy Big 19th Birthday, Scott Aniol
March 30, 2006 by Ryan Martin
Happy Big 19th Birthday to the King of Fundamentalist Pop, Scott Aniol!
To him I bequeath my great love for adult beverages* . . .
but he still has to wait two more years . . . heh, heh
You know, Scott, I will say that there's nothing like a nice cold one after a hard day of blogging against the mutants that climb out of the Orange River. Trust me, it's times like those that it's real smooth going down. Until then, bottoms up with the cider (if you know what I mean).
Also, birthday boy, I want an explanation of this little gem of a CD I stumbled upon at a local thrift store:

Please visit the next blog in our Scott Aniol's 19th birthday blog-chain at Todd Mitchell's site.
*The author of this blog is, of course, a teetotaler.

Oh man, I think this pic is my favorite yet! Thanks (I think)!
Are the Kara Dawgs available for music ministry? I have Evangelist Joel Zartman preaching next December, and he doesn’t bring his own music team… :))
Ryan,
I love the Kara Dawgs album cover. Do you think they needs any “roadies”?
Frank
I’m their booking agent, and the phones have been ringing off the hook since I posted this. Who knew that fundamentalism were so hungry for edgy P&W?
The only openings SA’s KaraDawgs have right now is Christmas week 2009.
I think they’re even hotter than even the Pettit team.
Any chance they’d provide backup for the offertory at a high pontifical mass (an Anglican one, of course)? Our organ is a Hammond B3, and I’m told all the rock bands really prefer that one.
bq
Really, BQ, it all depends on much the honorarium is.
I believe you mean love offering, Ryan.
Right. Love offering. Or whatever Anglicans call the money we get, that’s what it depends on.
Doesn’t the Bible say, “I have become all things to all men”?
19? Are you kidding?
Jerks.
Funny. Jesse, we were not trying to fool anyone, but simply have some fun with what Scott calls his “boyish good looks” (read, inability to grow a beard).
:)I was only having fun with what some call my ‘boyish naivete’. It was funny. I liked the album cover
I just sold off a piece of music that he wrote for the wilds, I’ll have to track it down and tape that photo over the front of it!
I think this just goes to show that I haven’t been paying much attention to the blogosphere for the past several weeks.
Oops. Sorry to call you an Anglican, BQ. That was unintentional.
Lilrabbi, I am sure your life has been the sorrier for it . . . or, maybe not.
I am trying to figure out a way of getting that CD picture to be permanently displayed somewhere.
Put up a billboard in Rockford a block down from the one that Scott’s church put up. The one about doing worship in a different, traditional way.
[...] Scott Aniol, be our Mildred J. Hill Happy birthday to Scott, who at age 19 is almost out of the teen years! Here’s the present I’ll be sending him. Tags: Friends and Family Posted: March 30, 2006 by filosofo @ 8:00 am //3) { if (navigator.appName==”Netscape”
