Baylor University’s Institute for the Studies of Religion is hosting the King James Bible conference to end them all. The list of speakers is somewhat staggering: Robert Alter, Mark Noll, N T Wright, Philip Jenkins, and Alister McGrath. To make one’s mouth water even more, their call for papers is still open. (Jeff Straub and Kevin Bauder, you know you want to write the paper on the KJV and fundamentalism.)
