Does the premise behind this project seem a bit foolish to anyone else?
Minnesota readers, plan ahead to be at this performance of the Magnificat at 11:00 pm on Christmas Eve at House of Hope Presbyterian. You may want to get there early for the organ concert of seasonal music at 10:00 pm. (Just take the kids in their pj’s!)
If you have never seen it, you have to take a look at CHBC’s statement of faith; it is fairly outstanding (except that last point).
William F. Buckley, Jr. reviews Martin Geck’s Johann Sebastian Bach: Life and Work in the New York Times.
Everyone ready for the big fallout tomorrow at SI?
Well, the LibraryThing site was new to me, so I’ll pass it along to you. Perhaps you’ve seen it, but if not, you should take a look at this tool. It is pretty easy to enter your books. Now we just need WordPress to add a LibraryThing widget for our blog!
If you are looking for a program to send large files via email, I found Pando helpful toward this end.
Scott Aniol and I have been adding new Advent and Christmas selections to Religious Affections Radio. I sometimes have problems launching the player at religiousaffections.org, so if that does not work try going here instead.

Tomorrow . . . what’s always posted on Tuesdays? I am eagerly looking forward to see how the open-minded younger fundamentalists handle it.

Maybe I’m reading it wrong, but the HOH website gives the time for the Magnificat as 11 AM, not 11 PM. Am I looking in the wrong place?

And 2007! I am certainly capable of error, so maybe I missed it. I thought for sure I saw 11 PM on Sunday the 24th (2006). I may email them and ask. That organ concert still looks pretty tempting, though . . .

IMPORTANT UPDATE
I called House of Hope today (12/7), and the lady told me that the performance is still on schedule for December 24, 2006 at 11 PM.
